Taking Time for Mom: 5 Ideas

I apologize if you got a partial post this morning! Here's what was supposed to be posted!

It's easy to get caught up in the busyness of motherhood. Cleaning, cooking, caring for little ones, schooling, and a myriad of other things that pull you in a hundred directions for your precious time each day.

Today I have a reminder for you.. Take time for you!

Here's a few ideas for you.

1. Take a bath and relax at night. Use bubble bath, relaxing music and even candles to make it extra special!

2. Curl up with a good book and a cup of coffee (or tea if you prefer). Only thing is you might just get lost in your book and not want to go to bed.

3. If you like crafts they are a great way to do something you enjoy and relax at the same time! I nejoy crochet so I often will sit after the kids go to bed and work on various projects.

4. Watch a movie or TV show. In our house we don't have cable but we do have Netflix and Hulu. I have various shows that I enjoy watching and will pick on when I get a chance.

5. Have a moms night out. Our homeschool group does these every now and then and i really enjoy them! Even if it's just a few hours every few months. Go grab a coffee with a friend, ice cream after dinner or just go for a walk if it's nice outside.

This is just a few ideas. There's many, many others. What do you like to do to to relax and take time just for you?

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
